A CALL TO PRAYER......Dear Fellow Prayer Warriors, In Sydney, Australia this Saturday, December 3rd, at 12 midday a rally will be held for what is being termed the demand for "Marriage Equality". Basically the Homosexual community is calling for Australia to join the ranks of more than a dozen other countries who recognise and accept (and condone) the marriage of two same-sex individuals. Our current stand against this is being called outdated. Any Christian knows where God stands on this issue - but it seems for some the words 'detestable' and 'abhorrent' have escaped their understanding. (Read all of Leviticus chapter 18.) Or perhaps for some that is just one of those parts of the Bible they choose not to believe. In the eyes of the world Australia's stand against gay-marriage may well be outdated, but not in the eyes of God. God does not change His mind to suit a modern world. (Malachi 3:6.) I am not usually a campaigner, or a person who makes a big noise about anything in the political arena, but this is striking a nerve with me. Please, come together in prayer over this; for my country, for a united stand for Christian and Biblical beliefs, for my own, yours and our joint, personal stand in adherence to God, as brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you, and God bless. P.S. Pray also for safety for those attending....these things do tend to get out of hand.

Romans 1:25-32 GWT
ReplyDeleteThese people have exchanged God’s truth for a lie. So they have become ungodly and serve what is created rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen!
For this reason God allowed their shameful passions to control them. Their women have exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. Likewise, their men have given up natural sexual relations with women and burn with lust for each other. Men commit indecent acts with men, so they experience among themselves the punishment they deserve for their perversion.
And because they thought it was worthless to acknowledge God, God allowed their own immoral minds to control them. So they do these indecent things. Their lives are filled with of all kinds of sexual sins, wickedness, and greed. They are mean. They are filled with envy, murder, quarreling, deceit, and viciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, haughty, arrogant, and boastful. They think up new ways to be cruel. They don’t obey their parents, don’t have any sense, don’t keep promises, and don’t show love to their own families or mercy to others. Although they know God’s judgment that those who do such things deserve to die, they not only do these things but also approve of others who do them.
The comment left by “Anonymous” says it all. Let God be true, and every man a liar. Also, when we at last stand before Christ to give an account for our service, I firmly believe that one thing He will hold against us is that we didn't pray enough. The world is too close to being fully ready for Antichrist for us to not be praying around the clock. We shouldn't have to be especially called to pray when this world vehemently attacks God's moral Truth. Thank you for this call to prayer- I will answer.
ReplyDeleteDo you morons think homosexual people choose to be gay?
ReplyDeleteEven if gay marriage is passed, there's no way we'd want to do it in a church... We, unlike you people, don't force our opinions and beliefs on others. We just want the same rights that straight people have.
A call to prayer is nothing more than that - a call to prayer....something we are all encouraged to do. We rally round each other in prayer for someone suffering a terminal illness, for a lost child, a missing parrot...whatever is close to our heart. My intent with this post was to call together those in agreement....not to judge anyone or how they choose to live their life - love the sinner, hate the sin - not the other way around. If you don't agee don't pray...it's not rocket science! Nor is it necessary for you to (anonymously) decide just because we think differently to you that we are morons. That's a very playground mentality.
